This lovely and typical Alentejo style house is situated at the edge of a little medieval village of Porto Espada, the house is in good condition, with a 2 car garage(inside and outside space), a big and well
manicured garden with a small pool. There are two floors, on the bottom you have a spacious kitchen with a fire place, ample storage space, two bedrooms, the living room and a bathroom. Upstairs is an open loft space with views spanning over the Serra de Mamede mountain range. A lot of storage spaced a big bedroom with an ensuite bathroom.
The house comes with all hand crafted wooden closets and kitchen cabinets.
The village is just below the beautiful medieval castle city of Marvao and is inside a UNESCO HERITAGE ZONE. The village is next to the Sever river with a big new fluvial pool, the location is great for those seeking a quiet escape, who love nature, agriculture, wine, bird watching, forest bathing and more.

The area has river beaches, and all services are very close by, schools, hospital, banks are all located in the bigger town of Portalegre a short drive beautiful, speckled with spotless little white villages with great restaurants, olive oil, cheese, and amazing wine.

It is just below the castle city of Marvao which dates to the beginning of the Middle Ages and had a rich Sephardic heritage. It is one of the oldest cities in Portugal and was part of Roman Lusitania it is a white city akin to its neighbors in Andalusia which is just a short drive away.
The closest airport is just 30 minutes away in Spain, in Badajoz.
It has a large amount of tourism and one will find people from everywhere.
The town has many art exhibitions, and festivals as well as very good and well known restaurants . Many artists live in the area and there are many great exhibitions. There is a big international community from everywhere around here as well
